Gary L. Fischler & Associates, PA, is a psychology practice specializing in law enforcement, firefighter, and other public safety personnel examinations. Our mission is to provide evaluations of public safety personnel in the most accurate, objective, and defensible manner possible. Since 1991, we have examined more than 10,000 public safety personnel for departments at local, state, and national levels.

Our process for screening candidates includes four to six hours of timed and untimed tests, followed by a personal interview. As the examination is performed in two parts, the test results help the examiner focus on any areas of concern. After the test results and available background information have been reviewed by the examining psychologist, each candidate undergoes a thorough in-person interview of approximately 30-60 minutes.
